James Girdlestone

James joined what was Stone Daly Ltd in 2006 and became a partner shareholder in April 2010. The practise name then changed to DGS Accounting Ltd.  He is a Chartered Accountant and completed a Batchelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting at Otago University. Before moving to North Canterbury James worked for Ernst & Young in Christchurch.

James is married to Amanda and they have two young sons, Riley and Pete.  He loves the outdoors, and has a passion for fishing, hunting and skiing.. 

James enjoys the rural lifestyle and North Canterbury community. A keen gardener and chicken fancier he is living the good  life on a life sentence block in Waipara.
